Ebay allowing open redirs is simply retarded. I emailed the whole silly story to with a quick explanation. Lets see if ebay and Cnet respond when the media gets involved. --Chris --===============0461862641768372403==-- From maddoc@maddoc.net Fri Mar 4 22:28:58 2005 From: Doc Schneider To: discuss@lists.surbl.org Subject: Re: [SURBL-Discuss] Re: SP91011 your recent report to eBay's Trus t and Safety Department (KMM157050156V37604L0KM) Date: Fri, 04 Mar 2005 15:29:04 -0600 Message-ID: <4228D320.5070903@maddoc.net> In-Reply-To: <620A4FF9B83DD511B69900062939D037E0F6C5@internal.merchantsoverseas.com> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: multipart/mixed; boundary="===============1502212020879621304==" --===============1502212020879621304== Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Chris Santerre wrote: >>And their abuse doesnt even respond, so perhaps someone with clue is=20 >>reading along ;) >> >=20 >=20 > I've had it with this kind of stupidity. I'm sure there are some of us out here (like myself) who wonder what to do with these redirects. Should we report them to somewhere? I know reporting them to abuse(a)redirectordomain.com usually does next to nothing. Should we just start blackholing all of them except the high-profile ones (like ebay)? Maybe that will light a fire under their butts to fix their problems. Maybe put a webform on the surbl page to submit ones that we get? Frank --===============9078251471886955478==--
