Also, the IP address of the sending server is NOT necessarily the IP address of the NameServer the domain is assigned to. (Or maybe I'm misunderstanding you altogether)

Also... I don't mean to be so negative... certainly, this is the kind of brainstorming that leads to great ideas. I'm just double-checking your ideas :)
