I agree, though I didn't really want to break the way it worked for existing users. I am fine with doing 20 random, though I would like to here from others on the list what they think it ought to be by default.

something like 127.0.0.0+2 might be less potentially confusing.
I was kind of worried it might cause confusion, but I figured I would just go with it... I like your syntax more and I will probably use that in the next release.

If I may, I'd like to suggest making the changes relatively quickly, since as we've found these things tend to take on a life of their own. Once people start doing things one way, it seems to be pretty hard to get them to change to a new way at times. :-)
In some ways it's kind of clean to copy the a similar 20 random setting that SA 3.0 is using by default, though I wouldn't mind hearing some comments from folks about this also. (I'm not convinced it's necessarily the best algorithm, just that it is one. ;-)
