Hello!
Can anyone help me? I'm relatively new with surbl.org lists.
Can someone instruct me how to request a domain removal from ws.surbl.org? I have sent yesterday an email at wstearns@pobox.com but nothing changed until now.
The domain is nbg.gr and is National Bank of Greece. It is black listed by one of our products that uses surbl.org lookups. The situation has become very very messy.
Also the customer has sent email to Bill Stearns but to no avail.
Thank you Costas

Hello Costas, The removal process is described at:
http://www.surbl.org/lists.html#removal
However Ben Williams at Clearswift already wrote us about this and we have already removed it.
Cheers,

Hello Jeff
Do I have to do something to whitelist also (so they not become blacklisted in the future) the following subdomains also, or they are included in the nbg.gr domain?
diethniki.nbg.gr ethnokarta.nbg.gr ex.nbg.gr insurance.nbg.gr yg-melathron.nbg.gr
Thank you Costas Ioannou

Generally speaking any .gr domains would be listed and checked at the second level, i.e., domain.gr. Therefore it should not be necessary to whitelist the subdomains. It would generally not have much effect. However I whitelisted them anyway.
Unrelated, we see that certain second level domains are reserved:
http://www.verisign.com/Resources/Digital_Brand_Management_Services_Resource...
# Registrations reserved for public use in .GR second-level domains. These are explicitly mentioned in the Regulation:
- .COM.GR Restricted to companies and commercial organizations
- .EDU.GR Restricted to educational institutions
- .NET.GR Restricted to ISPs and network providers
- .ORG.GR Restricted to organizations
- .GOV.GR Reserved for exclusive use of governmental
bodies and organizations
Are there any others, or is this the current list?
