Yesterday I activated ds.surbl.org in our local server for very few domains, so far, I got 54 hits, NO false positives.
Regards.

Thanks for the feedback Jose and Mariano. If anyone else has data, particularly false positives, about ds.surbl.org to share it would be quite useful.
Also very useful are any spam and FP rate data for the new lists ob.surbl.org and ab.surbl.org (and the older ones). It's ok to use the new list on production mail servers now since they're fully served up on all of the SURBL name servers. (Thanks SURBL name server administrators!)
So please test the new lists and let us know the results.
For those with rsync access, even though ds.surbl.org is only served publically on my name server (and maybe a few others) for now, you can get a copy of the BIND or rbldnsd zone files for ds.surbl.org and serve them locally for testing on production mail servers.

Hi Jeff,
uptilt.com is listed on this SURBL, we have a heap of customer who receive mail from them - they look like a mailing house. I'm not sure of the hat colour, but they appear to be semi legit at least.
Otherwise the data looks great.

uptilt.com came up earlier here when someone said tonyrobbins.com was using them and that they were a spamhaus.
However their anti-spam policy looks reasonably sound:
http://www.uptilt.com/corp/company/antispam_policy.html
so I am whitelisting them in SURBLs.
Anyone who thinks they are getting spam from uptilt.com should use their abuse reporting address abuse@uptilt-MUNGED.com (without the -MUNGED of course).
Let me know if it doesn't stop the spam.
