Hi Tom, I believe Merak Mail Server uses SpamAssassin under Windows. As such, you may want to check that basic DNS resolution works. For example, on that server can you:
ping 2.0.0.127.multi.surbl.org
It doesn't matter whether the ping itself works, but does it resolve to 127.0.0.2?
That may or may not have to do with the issue, but it's useful to check in case a proxy server is interfering with DNS, for example.
Does anyone else here use Merak? If not you may need to continue to work with the vendor.
