Curious... Does the URI parsed from this spam point to the spam provider's site (and then redirect), or does it point directly to the "legit"
company's
site?
First off, the IT World newsletter that contained the clickaction link was not "spam", it was a legitimate subscription based newsletter. The URI pointed to a subscription change service that clickaction provides that allows newsletter recipients to change their subscription from an HTML based format to a plain text format (not a redirect).
