Hello,
is there any page i can verify the source mails or urls which has led to the listing of the domain "ncsrv.de" at SURBL?
This domain is used as a alternative url for almost every server in our network (server1 ... server99999.ncsrv.de), so websites are available even no customer domain is routed on the certain server.
We use this domain also as internal identifier, also included in the host name configuration.
As you will understand a full control over every URL used in unsolicited messages is almost impossible because we have a lot of root systems, so we can not shut down every listed URLs immediately.
Is there a possibility to check for new entries at SURBL automatically so we can respond to that issue?
Thanks, Rafael
I have forget to mention that the lookup check from SURBL is not available for me from three different networks.
http://george.surbl.org/cgi-bin/lookup.cgi
Firefox just display a white site after trying to lookup the domain ncsrv.de. IE8 reports an 500 Internal Server Error.
Thanks, Rafael

As i wrote in my initial mail this form does not work for me and i have reproduced this issue on two other independent systems on two other locations.
Does the form works if you put into "ncsrv.de" ?

Have you thought about checking your outgoing mail against SURBL (and possibly URIBL) so your own servers can tell you when anything is listed ?
Firefox just display a white site after trying to lookup the domain
ncsrv.de. IE8 reports an 500 Internal Server Error.
This is most unhelpful for people trying to report abuse to you or find anything out about you. Might I suggest you put some helpful information on there e.g. company name, address, phone number, link to main website, abuse reporting address (preferably abuse@) etc etc etc
All the best
Phil
Hello Phil,
Have you thought about checking your outgoing mail against SURBL (and possibly URIBL) so your own servers can tell you when anything is listed ?
A possiblity but not a perfect solution. Such checks could be done with a single script which sends a dns request to surbl via cron. Actually outgoing mails are filtered for viruses and trojaners, not for spam.
As we have a mess of servers which are reachable and configured with a subdomain of ncsrv.de and not all of them are over our control (we have no root privilges, only the customer) we would probably get informed from a listing, but lookup form does not work from here and we did not know, if there are any further information at lookup form, so we could investigate the certain issues.
Could somebody please check, if the lookup form works for him/her?
I just get a blank page after putting "ncsrv.de" into it and clicking on "Check".

This is most unhelpful for people trying to report abuse ...
I does not unterstand your intention. This information are useless for this issue, isn´t? You can view all data if you make a lookup at ncsrv.de
Thanks! Rafael

http://www.surbl.org/lookup/ (as suggested by the Whitelisters) works fine for me. It says ncsrv.de is not listed.

Here at home i can not reproduce this issue too. The result is shown now correctly.
Otherwise now a dns query does not deliver a positive match on multi.surbl.org - i have tried the same query some hours ago at work and the domain was listed.
Thank you for your help!
